Esber Imported Rugs was founded in 1936. Over the years we have provided oriental rugs and area rugs to customers throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, West Verginia, and Connecticut. We are based in State College, but often bring our rugs to your town to show them in your home.

Due to the proximity of the store to Beaver Stadium, please call ahead on PSU home footbal games to check for modified store hours.

We often make appointments to help customers before 10am and after 5pm. Please, do not hesitate to ask about visiting us outside of our normal business hours.

From Downtown State College:
Our showroom is located less than a 1/4 mile from downtown State College and Campus of The Penn State University. As you are leaving State College on drive East on College Avenue towards the Nittany Mall on Route 26. Pass under the small University Drive bridge, our showroom is the first building on the left. We are next to Damon's Restaurant.

From US22 or the Nittany Mall:
As you approach State College on US 22 the showroom is on the right next to the Hampton Inn and Damon's Restaurant.

W.E. Esber Policies

Rugs on Approval
We strongly encourage our customers to try the rugs in their home before they buy. There is no limit to the number of you can take to see in your home. Sometimes you will need to see them overnight or wait a few days for your friends opinions. If you can't manage to transport the rugs home yourself, we will deliver and show them in your home.

We will bring rugs to locations within 3-4 hours of State College. That means for over 70 years we have been servicing towns such as Bradford, St Marys, Johnstown, Dubios, Mechaniscburg, Williamsport, and Lewisburg. We also pick up and deliver rugs for cleaning in all of these towns.

Returns
We strive to offer customers an opputunity to try selected rugs before a purchase. Therefore, returns are rare at Esber Rugs.

Rugs Purchased from Our In-store Inventory:
Within 1 week of the date of purchase, you can return the rug for a full refund assuming the rug has no damage or shows no wear from use.

Between 2 and 4 weeks from the date of purchase, you can return the rug for a store credit assuming the rug has no damage or shows no wear from use.

After 4 weeks from the date of purchase, while we are not accepting returns, will evaluate the rug and try to find a solution that will make the customer happy.

Rugs Purchased by a Special Order:
A Special Order Purchases can not be returned

Rugs Purchased on Sale:
All sales are final for discounted rugs or sale rugs.
